The conference theme is Claiming a space in ‘Rwanda Studies’ and influencing domestic policies: Contributions of Rwandan researchers to knowledge production on peacebuilding
It will feature presentations of unique and innovative academic papers authored by several Rwandan researchers, working individually or in partnership with local/international co-authors, under the sponsorship of the Aegis Trust’s Research, Policy and Higher Education (RPHE) Program. The primary aims are: to showcase the quality and potential of locally produced academic work, link researchers to policy-makers, facilitate the dissemination of their work and create a platform for dialogue with relevant domestic and international peacebuilding stakeholders.
