Advisory meetings are meant to guide the selected researchers on “which direction to go to” with their respective projects, keeping in mind the objectives of the program. They are also intended to create synergy among researchers who are in the same cohort. During the first session, researchers get to present on the progress of their papers and this being the first advisory meeting, the focus will be on the methodology and explaining the expected results of the research project. After presentations by the researchers, constructive feedback is given by the audience made of the programme team and the team of advisors. In the afternoon, the researchers will individually meet their advisors on one-on-one for deeper discussions on the research project.
